I visited By The Beach on the 26th of April, 2009. After being seated, we waited for 40 minutes, while seeing people who arrived after us and order the same dish get served. We then asked what the holdup was our food, and were told "good food is worth waiting for". As this didn't really seem like an answer to me, I waited another 10 minutes, with people who arrived 20-30 minutes after us still getting served, before asking again what the holdup was.

At this point the cashier staff was very discourteous and confrontational and informed me that she couldn't "control what they do in the kitchen".

She then proceeded to go to the kitchen and summon the cook who was even more confrontational, telling me that I could see how busy they were. I continued to ask why we were still waiting almost an hour while seeing numerous tables come and go behind us, but all involved failed to see this as any sort of problem.

When our order did arrive, I had to send it back as it was wrong.
