I have to agree on Al Forno - it is simply a wonderful place for food done right. Ingredients are fresh and the cooking has an authenticity about it that reminds us how the uncomplicated can taste sublime. But as The Restaurant Blogger has noted, several people already know how great the food is...what is less known is the personality of Executive Chef, David Reynoso. Over the years he and his family have become very good friends and you could not meet a nicer family. David lives his life the way he cooks his food, with a love and passion that is only matched with his humility. We love the place - it is worth the trek to Providence. Eat a lot and crash a lot and crash at the banal but functional Westin Hotel that is less than 7 minutes away. I cannot wait to try Tini.
